Last week, I wrote about Living in Balance. Part of living in balance for me is to get healthy. Since we moved to KY, I’ve been going to the gym at least 4-5 times a week. I thought I would never say this but I feel guilty if I don’t go or at least go walking on the beautiful trails here. It’s just so hot so I prefer the gym. Along with my 40-45 minute treadmill walk/run, I’ve added weights. I started out trying to focus one day for arms and one day for legs but that doesn’t seem to work for me so I’ll lift a few arm and leg weights each day. This usually equates to 3-4 times a week. Now, if I can just be this consistent with my healthy eating…I should be in great shape for my birthday in October.
